Karbon Systems was my 1st company. I co-founded this company with good friend from my 1st job at WolfeTech.  We learned a lot of lessons at Karbon Systems, which ultimately grew into quite a successful little venture! We originally set out to develop software for the enterprise space, but learned early on that there were much bigger issues that had to be solved first… Most organizations weren’t ready to consider mobile applications, as they didn’t have the infrastructure in place to manage their existing mobility programs.  In short we had to build roads before we could sell cars.

Together, my business partner and I developed a suite of services designed to solve all of these pain points for our target customers.  Ultimately, we had some of the largest mobility programs in the U.S. using our products.  Our clients included SUN Microsystems, StorageTek, The Eaton corporation and the US Department of Energy, among others.

Karbon Systems was sold to a larger integrator.  I believe the domain name still exists, but it’s not the same company as it was when my buisness partner and I owned it.
